Description
English: One of two prototypes built for the USAF competition for a new lightweight fighter, which was eventually won by the F-16. McDonanell Douglas teamed with Northrop to develop the design into the much heavier F-18. This aircraft is currently preserved at USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park, Mobile, Alabama.
