Summary[edit]

Description
English: Adequate testicular size is essential for normal sexual functions. Spermatogenesis is highly dependent on the size of the testicles. Healthy postpubertal testicular size is demonstrated in these images.

A Northern European male in his early 30's (age 31) has agreed to show his testicles to demonstrate their size and appearance. This male has normal sexual functions, such as strong libido and frequent sexual arousals, daily erections, abundant ejaculations and normal fertility. Male's puberty was normal, his first ejaculations were (through self-stimulation) at age 11, the penis is normal and typically-sized (erectile length slightly above average).

Male's normal-sized and healthy testicles are shown in this image (black ovals), and for comparison, the low end of the normal range for postpubertal testicular size is demonstrated (white ovals, length 4 cm) also. His right testicle is average-sized being 5.0x3.0 cm, left testicle is slightly bigger being 5.2x3.1 cm. Normal range for testicular length is about 4.0-5.5 cm or 4-7 cm depending on sources. The stretched scrotal skin seen in these image is so thin that the surface of the testicles can be seen through it [ those bumps are hair follicles not testical surface).
