Description
Norsk bokmål: Mannskapet i 17. mai tog med flagg og faner. Hundene er pyntet med rosetter. Ett av bildene fra ekspedisjonen med polarskip mot Nordpolen i perioden 24 juni 1893 til 13 august 1896. Etter planen skulle skipet drive i isen med havstrømmer fra Sibirkysten over Nordpolen mot Grønland.
English: The crew in a May 17th parade with flags and banners (May 17th is Norway's national holiday). The dogs have been decorated with rosettes. One of the pictures from the expedition with arctic ship toward the North Pole in the period June 24, 1893 to August 13, 1896. According to the plan, the ship was to drift in the ice with the ocean current from the coast of Siberia across the North Pole to Greenland.
Deutsch: Die Mannschaft am 17. Mai-Umzug mit Banner und Fahnen. Die Hunde sind mit Rosetten geschmückt. Eines der Bilder von der Expedition mit dem Polarschiff zum Nordpol in der Zeit 24. Juni 1893 bis 13. August 1896. Nach dem Plan sollte das Schiff im Eis mit den Meeresströmungen von der sibirischen Küsten über den Nordpol nach Grönland treiben.
Español: La tripulación en la procesión del 17 de mayo con banderas y estandartes. Los perros decorados con distintivos. Una de las fotos de la expedición con la nave polar hacia el Polo Norte en el periodo entre el 24 de junio 1893 al 13 de augosto 1896. Según los planes, el barco iba a estar a la deriva en el hielo y dejarse llevar por las corrientes marinas desde la costa de Siberia hacia Groenlandia.
