Description
English: General cargo ship NIOBE built at shipyard Robert Thompson and Sons, Southwick, as KINGSCOTE (yard № 131, launched: 10-04-1883, completed: 04-1883), 1908 sold to Swedish owner and renamed NIOBE, 1923 ANVALL, 1935 sold to Finnish owner and renamed ZIVA, 1937 TORAS, 19-11-1939 German prize, 1940 FIDUCIA, 1942 returned to Finnland and renamed TORAS again, 18-01-1947 foundered in ice near Kotka, collection J. Robert Boman (1926 - 2002), owned by Sjöhistoriska museet.
