Description

The Folly Theater at 9th and C Streets, NW shortly before its demolition, 5/12/29 "Washington Post" ("A Once-Popular Playhouse Passes", p. 3, which gives a history of the theater.)

The Folly was a vaudeville house that had several names during its lifetime (1850-1929), including Ford's Opera House, The Bijou, and The Majestic.
