"La relazione di Mauro Pelliccioli (13 dicembre 1928) relativa ai dipinti conservati in casa Zitti a Cemmo riferisce il dipinto P 487 a Charles Lebrun, mentre il suo pendant (P 488), di identificazione non certa, è riferito alla scuola di Largilliere. Nell'inventario dei beni allegato al testamento (18 febbraio 1954) è stabilita la relazione tra i nn. P 487 e P 488, con un riferimento per entrambi a Nicolas de Largillière. L'identificazione del personaggio con Maria Anna Christine Victoria di Baviera (Monaco , 28 novembre 1660 - Versailles, 20 aprile 1690), che sposa nel 1680 il delfino Luigi di Francia - P 487 -, è stata proposta da Xavier Salmon (comunicazione scritta del 16 luglio 2001). I due ritratti sono quindi da considerare post 1680. Marco Albertario"
