| Description |
English: A large queue of passengers waiting for Southern Vectis route 9 in Newport, Isle of Wight bus station. The usual summer holidays + not so good weather = everyone flocks to Newport and gridlocks it has occurred, and so route 9 was severely delayed. I had got of a route 9 stuck at the top of Staplers (see File:Newport Staplers Road traffic queue.JPG and File:Southern Vectis 194 HW52 EPP and Newport Staplers Road traffic queue.JPG), and walked into Newport quicker than all the traffic. Fortunately, shortly after the photo was taken, a bus was brought round from the parking area and put on route 9, which helped clear the queue, although it did take them a while to do anything about it all. |
