English: Newgate and Pepper Street, Chester The Newgate in the city walls, and Pepper Street are viewed from the top of the Pepper Street multi-storey car park. The tall tower on the right is the liftshaft and stairwell for the car park, and on the top is the Lion Brewery lion, which was preserved after the brewery's demolition. For a closer view of the lion see 374859 . |
