| Description |
English: New Zealand Memorial, Hyde Park Corner. Photo taken on Remembrance Sunday, the day after the dedication of the memorial. The wreath laid by the Queen is by the nearest standard. The memorial is designed by Paul Dibble, and the architect is John Hardwick-Smith of Athfield Architects Ltd. The standards are decorated with New Zealand scenes and emblems - a silver fern, poppies, and many others military and civil including a rugby ball. Six of the standards are in the shape of the Southern Cross with its two pointers.
