Summary[edit]
DescriptionNew York National Guard (24367732478).jpg | New York National Guard Soldiers of the 22 Engineers at work widening "The Snake Road" which connected Camp Wadsworth, where the men of the 27th Division of the New York National Guard trained for World War I, with Spartanburg, South Carolina five miles away. The division's engineers had to maintain the road which hadn't been designed to accommodate 27,000 potential travelers.
