Summary[edit]

Description The Woolworth Building from a Circle Line sightseeing boat in the Hudson River. The Woolworth Building was the tallest building in the world from 1913 to 1930. It had 57 floors and was 792 ft (241 m) high, and had a widely acclaimed design. It was the headquarters of the F. W. Woolworth Co., known for "five and dime stores" when I grew up.
