Summary[edit]

Description The Woolworth Building was the tallest building in the world from 1913, when it was completed, until 1930, when 40 Wall Street and the Chrysler Building were built. It had 57 floors and was 792 ft (241 m) high, and had a widely acclaimed design. It was the headquarters of the F. W. Woolworth Co., known for "five and dime stores" when I grew up.
