Summary[edit]
DescriptionNew Royal Bath, Bath - geograph.org.uk - 631070.jpg |
English: New Royal Bath, Bath This remarkable new thermal bath opened in the historic city of Bath in 2006. It was constructed inside and adjoining this fine Georgian building with the aid of a £7.78 million Millennium Commission grant. It contains the Minerva Pool on the lower ground floor and a Rooftop Pool (no prizes for guessing where that is). Between these two over three floors are steam rooms and powerful drenching showers, changing facilities, a café / restaurant and numerous special treatment rooms. I can confirm that on a cold, wet, miserable December day, the warm waters in here are decidedly pleasant - and the open-air Rooftop Pool is quite an experience especially at night with the city lit up around you.
