Summary[edit]

Description Trolleybus 6051 of the Athens-Piraeus trolleybus system, in the centre of Piraeus, northbound on Akti Poisidonos at Kapodistriou, just south of the Piraeus metro station. The photo was taken from a pedestrian overcrossing. Built around 2000, trolleybus 6051 is a Neoplan N6014, one of 112 such trolleybuses built for the Athens-Piraeus system's operator in 1999–2000 and whose bodies were made in Greece by ELBO (Ελληνική Βιομηχανία Οχημάτων, or Hellenic Vehicle Industry, alternatively abbreviated ELVO), and the model was later (or alternatively) given as N4216. At the time of the photo, the bus's flip-dot destination sign was in the middle of changing between messages.
