He was in their service until 1877,when he was employed by William Bachman& Co., commission merchants, Pittsburg.He remained with them until his father andfamily moved to Connellsville in 1879. Hisfather, on coming here, went into the grocerybusiness, and Mr. Davidson clerked for himuntil 1891, when his father retiring from thebusiness Mr. Davidsons brother, James Ren-wick Davidson, took the business, and heclerked for his brother until 1894. He en-gaged in his present grocery business andby close attention to business and honestand fair dealing with his customers has builtup a good business and has a large trade.Mr. Davidson was married at Moundsville,W.
