De titel is gebaseerd op de gedachte: 'Honderd meter rechtsaf vindt u het geluk, wij grijpen naar het ongrijpbare en zoeken naar het geluk, wij allen willen fietsen naar de maan.' De film ging in januari 1963 in première en na een week alweer uit de roulatie. NB. Deze verloren gewaande speelfilm is teruggevonden in 2014 en geheel gerestaureerd opnieuw in première gegaan bij het Filmmuseum EYE in augustus 1915.
