English: Steel helmet (German: Stahlhelm) for the Schutzpolizei ("Protection police") of Nazi Germany during World war II 1940 – 1945. Painted in green, with a national swastika emble on the left helmet decal and the emblem of the Schutzpolizei (Polizeiadler, "police eagle", a wreathed eagle-and-swastika) on the right, featuring a black leather chin strap and brown lining (interior padding).
