Description
English: Photo taken on May 8th, 2019 at Lofoten War Memorial Museum ("Lofoten Krigsminnemuseum") in Svolvær, Norway. The museum exhibits uniforms, smaller items, etc. from World War II and the German occupation of Norway 1940–1945.
  • German WWII military food:
    • Leberwurst (liverwurst sausage) for the Wehrmacht, the military forces of Nazi Germany during World War II. Can label with the military version of the national eagle-and-swastika emblem (Wehrmachtsadler) and text in German: Leberwurst; 200 Gr.; Unterholz Fleischmittel GmbH Dortmund; Hergestellt für die Deutsche Wehrmacht.
    • Chocolate bar wrapped in paper marked with Wehrmachtsadler and text in German: Schokolade ; 45 Gr.; Carl Brandt Chokoladenfabrik Landshut; Hergestellt für die Deutsche Wehrmacht.
  • A collection of unused visor peaked cap insignia for the Luftwaffe, the aerial warfare branch of the combined German Wehrmacht military forces. The flying imperial eagle emblem was called Luftwaffenadler, fliegenden Adler, etc. in German. Prod. no. 25293 (Schirmmützen-Adler, Mützenadler, Luftwaffenadler) produced by F.W.Assmann & Söhne Lüdenscheid – Uniformteile Abzeichen Beschläge Koppelschlösser und Schnallen.
  • Wartime magazine with text in Norwegian, etc.
