Description
English: Two navy PASKAL frogman strike team members with the HK XM8 Automatic Rifle / Designated Marksmen and G36KE with bipod during the 57th National Day Parade of Malaysia at Merdeka Square, Kuala Lumpur. Formerly, the XM8 was the United States military designation for a lightweight assault rifle system and originally part of the Objective Individual Combat Weapon program (OICW) from the late 1990s to early 2000s before withdrawned on October 31, 2005. However, the weapon is now in service with Royal Malaysian Navy commando forces in year 2010.
