English: National Waterways Museum, river passenger boat engine This is a 130 horsepower triple expansion engine with radial valve gear and built by T & A Savery of Birmingham in 1902. It was used in the river steamer King used as pleasure craft on the Avon & Severn. The engine was removed in 1960. The hull does survive and there have been plans for its restoration. |
