Notes This drawing was commissioned by Charles L. Parish, the architect and builder of the William J. Paugh House in the late 1850s. It was drawn and lithographed by the Nahl Brothers (Charles Christian and William Arthur Nahl), gold rush artists from San Francisco. The original was given to me by Betty Cleves, Charles Parish' great granddaughter.
