Summary[edit]

Description
English: The iconic 1970s-1990s NYCTA “M”-styled logo on a lamppost outside the 89th Avenue entrance of the Jamaica-Van Wyck subway station for the “E” train. This station is part of the Archer Avenue extension. For a more historical and detailed look at the New York City Subway, visit nycsubway.org. Highly recommend it for evaluations of the history of the NYCTA, since it’s a trustworthy site to reference in research, and to find older photos of rolling stock and stations, some of which may be defunct today.
