English: NW head of Cummeenaloughaun Cummeenaloughaun is a small lough at an elevation of 224m, nestled into the cirque of Knocknagorraveela (Cnoc na gCorrmhiolta; 507m; left) and its unnamed 418m subsidiary peak (right). The lough feeds the Inchiquin waterfall via the stream leaving at the north west (left); as the cirque has a low capacity compared with the rainfall draining into it, the waterfall can be spectacular after heavy rain |
