During their visit to Capitol Hill in July 2013, the NSF summer interns toured the U.S. Capitol building. Among the highlights: Statuary Hall. The interns also met with U.S. Rep. Larry Bucshon and Hill “staffer” Kimberly Montgomery. Bucshon, a Republican representing Indiana’s eighth congressional district, chairs the Subcommittee on Research and Technology of the House Science, Space and Technology Committee. Montgomery, Ph.D., is a member of the House Science Committee staff and works on science and technology issues.
