Description

NSB and NSF presented annual awards to honor outstanding research and public service contributions at an evening ceremony at the U.S. State Department on May 5, 2015. Associate professor and the David & Doris Lybarger Endowed Faculty Fellow in Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin, Alú is a leading innovator in the field of metamaterials—materials designed with properties and wave interactions not found in nature.
