Summary[edit]

Description

The NSB selected the American Museum of Natural History in New York City and the Museum of Science, Boston’s National Center for Technological Literacy for the 2015 Public Service Award. Ellen V. Futter, president of the American Museum of Natural History, and Ioannis Miaoulis, president and director of the Museum of Science, Boston, gave presentations at NSB’s open session on May 5, 2015. Pictured, from left to right, are: NSB Chair Dan Arvizu, NSF Director France Córdova, Ellen V. Futter, Ioannis Miaoulis, and NSB member Vint Cerf. Cerf chaired the board’s Committee on Honorary Awards.
