| Description |
English: New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina: Storm surge devastated Lower 9th Ward residential neighborhood. A basket full of wine bottles sits on foundation where house was. Evidentally someone gathered up a number of unopened wine bottles from the ruins as salvage, but then thought better of it and left them here. (Probably a good idea, as the bottles had spent at least a couple of weeks either submerged or floating in toxin laced floodwaters with New Orleans summer temperatures often above 90 degrees F) |
