Le 2 torri dell’NH Hotel Fiera di Milano, espressione della verve creativa dell'architetto francese Dominique Perrault, sono due giganteschi monoliti dalla geometria sobria e lineare di colore nero lucido, inclinati di 5 gradi rispetto alla verticale. L'esterno è costituito interamente da pareti ventilate traforate da bucature irregolari che ne sottolineano l’omogeneità ma anche la sottile tensione. Gli elementi che costituiscono il paramento, completamente ad ancoraggio nascosto, sono lastre (50 x 100 cm) costituite da un fondo di gres porcellanato rivestito da uno strato di vetroceramica nera.
