Description
English: This photo was taken from a Camp Bastion Airfield Guard Tower by a British Soldier (myself) whose orders were to protect the opium harvesting from Afghan Law Enforcement interference. The defences in the foreground are Camp Bastion Airfield perimeter fence & earth works.

Taken from Guard Tower 11 on South Eastern corner of Camp Bastion Airfield - less than 1 mile from the breach point of the Taliban Airfield Raid of September 14th 2012.
