Summary[edit]

Description
English: The Petty GMS No. 42 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, driven by NASCAR Cup Series driver, Ty Dillon, features a U.S. Space Force paint scheme at Martinsville Speedway Oct. 29, 2022, before qualification laps for the Xfinity 500 race. It is the first time that the U.S. Space Force paint scheme has been used in competitive racing. The long-standing partnership between Petty GMS and the United States Air Force yields at least three races in the Cup Series season when the Air Force paint scheme is showcased on the No. 43 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, driven by Erik Jones.
