Español: Los astronautas de la NASA Joe Acaba (izquierda) y Randy Bresnik (derecha) en el trabajo fuera de la Estación Espacial Internacional el 20 de octubre de 2017, en la tercera de una serie de tres caminatas espaciales planificadas. Los dos astronautas completaron con éxito la caminata espacial de 6 horas y 49 minutos a las 2:36 p.m. EDT. Instalaron un nuevo sistema de cámara en el efector final de enganche del brazo robótico Canadarm2, una cámara HD en el truss de estribor de la estación y reemplazaron un fusible en la extensión del brazo robótico Dextre.
English: NASA astronauts Joe Acaba (left) and Randy Bresnik (right) at work outside the International Space Station on Oct. 20, 2017, in the third of a series of three planned spacewalks. The two astronauts successfully completed the 6 hour, 49 minute spacewalk at 2:36 p.m. EDT. They installed a new camera system on the Canadarm2 robotic arm’s latching end effector, an HD camera on the starboard truss of the station and replaced a fuse on the Dextre robotic arm extension.
This was the fifth spacewalk of Bresnik’s career (32 hours total spacewalking) and the third for Acaba (19 hours and 46 minutes total spacewalking).
