According to the 1893 Sanborn map (File:Sanborn Fire Insurance Map from Seattle, King County, Washington. LOC sanborn09315 003-33.jpg and File:Sanborn Fire Insurance Map from Seattle, King County, Washington. LOC sanborn09315 003-34.jpg in particular), before the Industrial District was filled, Myers Packing Co. was at the end of a long wharf narrow wharf at the foot of Weller, contiguous with Stetson & Post. Just north of Weller Street was an east-west tramway, and north of that a block west of Railroad Avenue was Rock Plaster Co.'s Mill. West of that, this pier angled southwest, widened to accommodate the Myers Packing Co., and continued to the southwest.
