Fransız yazar ve Hava Kuvvetleri pilotu Antoine de Saint Exupery (1900-1944), Küçük Prens (Le Petit Prince) adlı romanı ile ünlüdür. 31 Temmuz 1944'de Akdeniz'deki keşif görevi sırasında kaybolur. Uçağı ve cesedine uzun zaman ulaşılamaz. 1998 yılında Marsilyalı bir balıkçı Saint Exupery'e ait bir bileklik bulur. 2003 yılında bilekliğin bulunduğu bölgede yapılan araştırmalarda, Saint-Exupery'nin kullandığı 'Lockheed P-38 Lightning' tipi uçak teşhis edilir. P-38'in oyuncağı 1940'larda ABD'de Wolverine tarafından üretilmiştir.
