Description
English: The Muslim American Flag - a opened Quran with light rays radiating and the words "There is No god but Allah and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah" written in Arabic. Sometimes referred to as the "Flying Quran". The flag is usually worn, displayed or flown together with the Stars & Stripes. (USA Flag) Stars & Strips on the left and Muslim American flag on the right. The flag was introduced by Imam W Deen Mohammed (ra) in the mid 70's and have been used in ceremonies, events, Muslim American media, publications and Masjids around the country.
