O Museu do Açude, integrante dos Museus Castro Maya, é uma antiga propriedade transformada em museu, localizada no Alto da Boa Vista, na cidade do Rio de Janeiro, Brasil.[1] O importante curador Marcio Doctors é o criador do Espaço de instalações permanentes que representa o acervo contemporâneo do Museu do Açude. Primeiro acervo instalativo do Brasil que reconfigura o jardim de esculturas em Espaço de instalações permanentes,atualizando o museu com o seu tempo. Doctors instaura nesse Espaço em 2000 a primeira obra pública de Hélio Oiticica, O Magic Saquare n. 5 De Luxe [ISBN 85-87008-04-8], reafirmando a importância do neoconcretismo no Brasil e realizando um importante acervo para a história da arte brasileira.
