English: Museum of Archdiocese in Gniezno Polski: Po lewej: kielich mszalny reliefowy zwany królewskim lub II kielichem Dąbrówki. Pochodzi z klasztoru trzemeszeńskiego. Srebro, złocone, repusowane. Napisy, grawerowane, niellowane. Warsztat południowoniemiecki, lotaryński lub nadreńsko-westfalski. Ok. 1190 r. Stopę i czaszę pokrywają przedstawienia zaczerpnięte z Ksiąg Królewskich Starego Testamentu, okazujące idealny obraz społeczeństwa chrześcijańskiego, szczególnie wymowne na tle wydarzeń politycznych w Polsce końca XII wieku (rozbicie dzielnicowe).
Po prawej, u góry: kielich mszalny niellowany, tzw. I kielich Dąbrówki. Pochodzi z klasztoru trzemeszeńskiego. Srebro, w większości złocone, repusowane, grawerowane z nieflowaniem. Rysunek na srebrze wykonany specjalną pastą na bazie siarczków ołowiu i srebra (niello). Warsztat dolno saski. Ok. 1170-1180 r. Bogaty wystrój ikonograficzny. Na czaszy umieszczone symbole i wydarzenia biblijne odnoszące się do Eucharystii. Pod czaszą przybliża skutki zbawczej Ofiary Chrystusa i misji Kościoła. Nodus przez personifikację raju pokazuje rozprzestrzenianie się Ewangelii. Po prawej, u dołu: patena niellowana. Stanowi komplet z kielichem Dąbrówki. Również srebrna, złocona, grawerowana i niellowana. Centralna scena przedstawia ukrzyżowanie Chrystusa, po bokach dwie postacie kobiece symbolizujące Synagogę i Eklezję, zbierającą do kielicha krew z boku Chrystusa. Na szerokim brzegu pateny ukazano 9 starotestamentowych zapowiedzianych Mąk Chrystusa. |
