Español: Integrantes de la Sociedad Coral Musical “Juventud Belgranense” en el Carnaval de enero de 1908. Fotografia tomada en calle Rondeau, entre Guido y Güemes.

Para los belgranenses era un acontecimiento esperado con ansiedad todo el año. En las primeras décadas de 1900, el corso de la calle Rondeau era el paseo obligado para toda la familia: largas filas de carruajes, comparsas, juegos con serpentinas, papel picado y flores. Años mas tarde ocuparían la calle Maipú.

Completaban estas fiestas, los bailes de disfraz y fantasía: en casas de familia y en el salón del Sr. Bernaschina, o en la Sociedad Italiana. Las damas competían con trajes exóticos y elaborados. Hacia fines de los años 40, al compás de las orquestas típicas y de jazz, llegará la moda de los bailes en el Club Belgrano, Hotel Nuevo y Club Social. Los niños desfilaban con gracia e ingenuidad, luciendo algunos trajes lujosos, otros sencillos, pero todos muy destacados por la creatividad e ingenio de las modistas.
