Description
English: Self comparison of a part of the C57BL/6J mouse strain genome including a section of the major urinary protein (Mup) locus. The 446118 base pairs of DNA included is found on proximal contigs: AL181738 to CR847872. Genes are numbered as black arrowheads and pseudogenes are lettered as gray boxes. The dot-plot shows a patchwork of lines, demonstrating that the Mup locus consists of duplicated segments of DNA. This figure is slightly modified from Figure 3a from the source material
