Summary[edit]
DescriptionMunidopsis polymorpha 2.jpg |
The small cave-dwelling squat lobster Munidopsis polymorpha is endemic to Lanzarote. Recent research indicates that it is probably more widespread in the islands' underground cracks and fissures filled with seawater. Visitors to the island will easily see this species in the famous lava tunnel saltwater lake at "Jameos de Agua", one of the main tourist attractions on Lanzarote and definitely worth a vist.
