This is the picture of mud stove decoration used in the tamil culture of india

Summary[edit]

Description
English: This is a kind of ancient stove which is used for cooking in india particularly part of South india. They use powdered rice for white colour and powdered red soil for red colour with turmeric powder and kungumam (a special powder offers for deity) to decorate in a special events. Rice powder is to feed ants, because in summer they are searching for food to save it for winter season. Red soil powder represents the mother earth and turmeric powder is for antibiotics and kungumam represents that they respect the mud stove, which gives food.
