Summary[edit]

Description
English: Mrs. Electa Willard was a volunteer nurse who served from 1861 to 1865 during the American Civil War. In addition to serving at U.S. hospital facilities in Nashville, Chattanooga, and Lookout Mountain, Tennessee, she distributed sanitary supplies, and nursed the sick and wounded at St. Mary's Harper Hospitals and at the Union barracks in Detroit, Michigan. Post-war, she was a member of the National Association of Civil War Army Nurses, and resided in Detroit, Michigan in 1910.
