Description

Should a worker get the call "Mr. Shaw wants to see you in his office!" it might be a very intimidating experience back when this photograph was taken. Unusually for Mason this appears to be a photo taken for a commission rather than a lantern slide for a presentation. The two gentlemen, father and son perhaps, posing in the office with ledger and blotter on the wrong side and the accoutrements of a typical office spread around and about them. Who were the Shaws, where was this and what business was managed from there?
