Description

A photograph of Mount McKinley from the Stony Dome lookout point from inside Denali National Park and Preserve. The image is an image merge panorama consisting of 6 different photos.

Camera and Exposure Details:
Camera: Canon PowerShot S1 IS
Lens: Canon 1:2.8-3.1 USM 10x Zoom Lens
Exposure: 58mm (380mm in 35mm equivalent) f/4.5 @ 1/1000 s.
NOTE: This image is a panorama of Mount McKinley consisting of multiple frames that were merged or stitched in software. As a result, this image necessarily underwent some form of digital manipulation. These manipulations may include blending, blurring, cloning, and colour and perspective adjustments. As a result of these adjustments, the image content may be slightly different from reality at the points where multiple images were combined. This manipulation is often required due to lens, perspective, and parallax distortions.
