Summary[edit]

Description
English: The summit (High Top) of Mount Le Conte (6,593 ft/2,010m) in the Great Smoky Mountains of Tennessee, located in the southeastern United States. A tradition among hikers is to deposit a rock on the pile, hearkening back to a Cherokee tradition that involves appeasing evil spirits. The summit is located along the Boulevard Trail.
