English: Motorola 6800 demonstration board built by Chuck Peddle and John Buchanan in 1974. The XC prefix indicates a pre-release chip.
Top: XCM6810 128 byte RAMs. Date code 7416, 16th week of 1974 (April 23).
Bottom: XC6820 PIA (parallel port). Date code 7420, 20th week of 1974 (May 21).
Bottom center: XC6800 microprocessor no date code.
