English: Motorcyclist warning, A537. The A537 Cat and Fiddle Road is popular with motorcyclists, but is one of the most dangerous roads in England (a map at the Cat and Fiddle Inn shows the locations of 25 serious and 3 fatal motorcycle accidents along the road in the past 4 years). According to their website - see http://www.shinysideup.co.uk/ - the aim of the Shiny Side Up Partnership is to reduce the number of motorcyclists killed and seriously injured on East Midlands roads and, in partnership with the Highways Agency, on the Trunk Road Network in England. The Inn itself, and the adjoining mast, is visible in the background of this image. |
