Description

"This monument, a tribute to multiculturalism, was presented to the city of Toronto on the occasion of its sesquicentennial by the national congress of Italian Canadians on behalf of the Italian Canadian Community."

Unveiled on Canada Day, July 1st, 1985 by the mayor of the city of Toronto, Arthur Eggleton, In the presence of the premier of the Province of Ontario, David Peterson.
