Summary[edit]
DescriptionMonotony to the east of Tow Law - geograph.org.uk - 1214768.jpg |
English: Monotony to the east of Tow Law Once upon a time Tow Law was known for its coal and steel industry, in fact it was founded because of it. Until recently the town was probably best known for its weather (at an altitude of 1000+ feet it can have harsh winters) and a row of six wind turbines on the B6301 to the east of the town. In the last two years the turbines have proliferated to in excess of 24 turbines visible from this point, these most recent being the 100 metres to the highest tip variety. I for one miss the old view.
