Description
Español: Monolito en granito dedicado a Alfonso R. Castelao situado en la entrada del Parque de Breogán inaugurado el 23 de mayo de 1982.

Originalmente el parque iba a denominarse Alfonso Castelao pero dado que ya existía por aquel tiempo una calle con el mismo nombre hubo que cambiarlo por el de Breogán, rey celta de la Edad de Hierro y al que se le atribuye el descubrimiento de Irlanda.

Inscripción del monolito: GALICIA E A MELLOR ESQUINA DO SOLAR HISPANICO CABO DO MONDO ANTIGO E AVANZADA DE EUROPA NO MAR INMENSO DA LIBERDADE SEMPRE EN GALIZA

English: Granite monolith dedicated to Alfonso R. Castelao located at the entrance to the Breogan Park inaugurated on May 23, 1982.

Originally the park was going to be named Alfonso Castelao but since a street with the same name already existed at that time it had to be changed to that of Breogan, a Celtic king of the Iron Age and to whom the discovery of Ireland is attributed.

Deutsch: ranite Monolith gewidmet Alfonso R. Castelao am Eingang zum Park Breogan eingeweiht am 23. Mai 1982.

Ursprünglich sollte der Park Alfonso Castelao heißen, da aber zu dieser Zeit bereits eine Straße mit dem gleichen Namen existierte, musste er in Breogan geändert werden. Breogan ist ein keltischer König der Eisenzeit, dem die Entdeckung Irlands zugeschrieben wird.
