Description
English: A Di-cast metal model of a horse drawn general cargo wagon of the Carter Paterson company. Carter Paterson was a British road haulage firm founded in 1860 and was closely associated with the railway industry. This private company was eventually acquired by the Big Four UK railway companies who all had in equal shares in the company. Following the nationalisation of the Railways the company taken over by British Transport Commission and was subsequently absorbed into British Road Services.
